Abstract (English)

The asymptotic behavior of the vector-valued Allen-Cahn equation was studied by Bronsard and Reitich via formal asymptotic expansion. This leads to vector-valued differential operators, a Sturm-Liouville operator and a Schrödinger operator. The potentials are given by a rescaled statinoary solution with triple-junction. The work investigates the spectrum of the operators in dependence of the asymptotic behavior of the sationary solution. Moreover, we investigate the exponential decay of eigenfunctions which is caused by an operator-valued threshold. In addition to that, we consider realizations of these operators on certain bounded domains, and investigate the smallest eigenvalue in dependence of the domain.

Translation of the abstract (German)

Die Frage nach dem asymptotischen Verhalten der vektorwertigen Allen-Cahn-Gleichung wurde von Bronsard und Reitich mit Hilfe formal asymptotischer Entwicklung untersucht. Dies führt auf zwei vektorwertige Differenzialoperatoren, einen Strum-Liouville-Operator und einen Schrödingeroperator, deren Potenziale durch eine reskalierte stationäre Lösung mit Tripelpunkt gegeben sind. Die Arbeit untersucht wie die Spektren beider Operatoren durch das asymptotische Verhalten dieser stationären Lösung miteinander verbunden sind. Weiterhin wird das exponentielle Abklingen von Eigenfunktionen betrachtet, hervorgerufen durch eine operatorwertige Barriere. Darüber hinaus betrachten wir Realisierungen dieser Operatoren auf bestimmten beschränkten Gebieten, und untersuchen den kleinsten Eigenwert in Abhängigkeit des Gebietes.
