Abstract (English)

In this work general non-isothermal phase field models for multi-phase and multi-component systems are considered.
The modelling of the free energy by Ginzburg-Landau functionals for multi-phase systems is considered and analyzed theoretically and numerically.
Furthermore a general non-isothermal phase field model for convective systems with multiple components and phases has been derived.
Finally for a isothermal multi-phase phase field model the existence of a solution is proved in one spatial dimension.

Translation of the abstract (German)

In dieser Arbeit werden allgemeine nicht-isotherme Phasenfeldmodelle für Mehrphasen-Mehrkomponenten-Systeme betrachtet.
Die Modellierung der freien Energie durch Ginzburg-Landau-Funktionale für Mehrphasensysteme wurde theoretisch und numerisch analysiert.
Außerdem wurde ein allgemeines nicht-isothermes Phasenfeldmodell für konvektive Systeme mit beliebig vielen Phasen und Komponenten hergeleitet.
Schließlich wurde die Existenz eine Lösung für ein isothermes Mehrphasen-System in einer Raumdimension bewiesen.
