Abstract (English)

This article discusses education of system administration.
Theoretical foundations cover psychology, learning theory, instruction theory, and instructional design, leading to an ideal progression for education, and related tools. The main part describes an existing class on system administration as given at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule, FH) Regensburg, Germany. It is analyzed for its history and target audience, the current curriculum, course layout, and for the didactic instruments used. The current situation is analyzed under the theoretical foundations given, and future directions for improvements are given.

Translation of the abstract (German)

Der Bericht beschreibt Didaktik der Systemadministration. Die theoretischen Grundlagen decken Psychologie, Lerntheorien, Instruktionstheorie und -design ab, und fuehren zu einer idealen Darstellung von Lehre und ihrer Werkzeuge im genannten Bereich. Der Hauptteil beschreibt eine existierende Vorlesung wie sie an der FH Regensburg angeboten wird. Betrachtet werden Geschichte und Zielpublikum, das bestehende Kurrikulum, das Layout des Kurses sowie die verwendeten didaktischen Instrumente. Die gegenwaertige Situation wird unter den genannten theoretischen Aspekten betrachtet, und Empfehlungen fuer kuenftige Verbesserungen werden gegeben.
