Abstract (German)

- Hintergrund: Risikoabschätzung der ERCP-Untersuchung mit Hilfe eines Klassifikationssystems bezogen auf die Risikofaktoren und Komplikationsrate.

- Methode: Die Ergebnisse einer retrospektiven Auswertung von 424 Untersuchungen, die sich zwischen 2/ 2007 und 1/2008 in der Medizinischen Klinik I des Universitätsklinikums Regensburg einer ERCP- Untersuchung unterzogen haben, wurden dargestellt. Schwerpunkt der Studie war es die Komplikationsrate und die Risikofaktoren hierfür zu ermitteln und aufgrund dieser Resultate ein Risikograding für die ERCP- Schulung zu überprüfen.

- Ergebnisse: Die Erfolgsrate der Untersuchungen lag bei 94,3 % im üblichen Rahmen. Insgesamt traten 24 Komplikationen auf, was einer Komplikationsrate von 5,7 % entspricht. Die am Häufigsten aufgetretene Komplikation war mit 2,1 % die Post-ERCP Pankreatitis, gefolgt von der Komplikation Blutung und Perforation, die jeweils bei 6 (1,4%) Patienten auftraten. Ein Paravasat wurde in 0,7% der Fälle beobachtet.

- Zusammenfassung: Das daraus resultierende Gradingsystem für eine ERCP- Untersuchung könnte somit für Schulungszwecke angewandt werden und hilfreich sein die Komplikationsrate der ERCP zu minimieren.

Translation of the abstract (English)

- Objectives: Riskanalysis of ERCP considering a grading system, risk factors and a complication rate.
- Methods: The results of a retrospective analysis of 424 examinations between 2/2007 and 1/2008 at the medical clinic of university of Regensburg. Main focus on the complication rate, the risk factors and the grading system.
- Results: The complication rate was described with 5,7%. The complication post-ERCP pancreatitis results 2,1%, than the complication bleeding with 1,4% and perforation with 1,4%. The complication paravasat appear with 0,7%.
- Conclusion: The gradingsystem could be used for ERCP training and could be helpful to minimize complications.
