Abstract (English)

Upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) of the NaYF4 type with narrow size distribution from 60 to 90 nm, were prepared using the established co-precipitation method. The particles were codoped using Yb3+ as the sensitizer ion, Er3+, Tm3+ or Ho3+, respectively as the emitting activator ions.
