Abstract

The magnetization of the two-dimensional ±J model (antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic bonds at random) in an applied magnetic field is studied by transfer-matrix and Monte Carlo calculations. Carefully cooled spin-glasses are predicted to show equilibrium values for the magnetization in experiments at low temperature.
