Abstract (German)
Die Dissertation untersucht die Entwicklung der Stadt Regensburg und den Gestaltungsrahmen der Stadtverwaltung in der Weimarer Zeit von 1919 bis 1933.
Anhand der kommunalpolitischen Entscheidungen der Stadtverwaltung wird aufgezeigt, welche Möglichkeiten es in der Weimarer Zeit für die regionale Mittelstadt gab.
Für die Untersuchung wurde die Finanz-, Eingemeindungs-, Infrastruktur-, Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik gewählt.
Am Ergebnis der Studie zeigt sich, wie sich die Gegebenheiten der Weimarer Republik auf die Stadt Regensburg auswirkten und wie die Kommunalpolitik darauf reagierte und reagieren konnte.
Translation of the abstract (English)
The dissertation investigates the development of the City Regensburg and the
Town council ´s possibilities from 1919 until 1933.
With the financial policy, incorporations, decisions in the infrastructure, economic policy and social welfare policy can be showed which possibilities the city and the town council had have.
The result shows which effect the Weimar republic had for Regensburg and how the town council had reacted.
