Abstract

The sepn. of the 8 homologous PhCH2NHR (where R = H and Me(CH2)n, n = 0-6) was achieved by only one distribution cycle of 400 stages with CHCl3-MeOH-2% HCl in the ratio 40:25:15 at 20-3 Deg. Sepn. also succeeded with less expensive app. in 2 (or more) steps with fewer stages by using different solvent systems at definite pH.
