Abstract

The reaction products of PhCH:NBu and iso-PrMgBr were partitioned in a Craig countercurrent extractor using 40:12:28 CHCl3-MeOH-2% NaCl as a solvent. meso- and dl(BuNHCHPh)2, BuNHCHPhCHMe2, PhCH2NHBu, and BuNH2 were obtained in the ratio 2:2:2:2:1.
