Abstract (German)

In dieser Studie zeigt sich, dass die MR Enterographie mit zusätzlicher rektaler Füllung der ohne rektaler Füllung hinsichtlich der Identifikation von aktiven Entzündungen an den betreffenden Darmabschnitten überlegen ist.
Die MR Enterographie mit rektaler Füllung ersetzt nicht die konventionelle Ileokoloskopie, die weiter als Goldstandard dient. Sie wird aber zur Verlaufskontrolle bei bereits diagnostizierten Morbus Crohn und zur Diagnostik von intra- und extraluminalen Veränderungen herangezogen.

Translation of the abstract (English)

This study shows that MR Enteroscopy with additional rectal filling is superior to those without rectal filling in terms of identification of active bowel inflammation.
MR Enteroscopy does not replace conventional Ileocoloscopy as the gold standard.
It is used for development control of diagnosed Morbus Crohn and for the diagnostic of intra- and extraluminal changes.
