Abstract (English)

Anoctamins are a family of Ca2+ activated Cl- channels (CaCCs) that are ubiquitously expressed in almost every cell type in our body. Anoctamins play an essential role in volume regulation, epithelial Cl- secretion, neuronal excitability, and also nociception.
