Abstract

The title study was carried out on I (R = H, halo, Me, CF3, NO2, OMe, and OEt) and included growth inhibition of Sinapis alba seedlings and hypocotyl, Triticum aleurone amylase response, as well as anthelmintic, fungistatic and bacteriostatic activity, and inhibition of ribosomal protein synthesis. Math models for the calcn. of pI50 values (Barth, A., et al., 1977) based on hydrophobic, electronic, and steric substituent consts. are given. Varimax rotation factor patterns resulting from test data are tabulated. The importance of complete parameter spaces and of multivariant anal. of multiple biol. data, are discussed.
