Abstract

C(alpha)-tetrasubstituted amino acids are important building blocks in the design and preparation of novel peptidomimetics. We report on the functionalization of the C(alpha)-tetrasubstituted THF amino acid rac-5 by copper(I) catalyzed N-arylation reactions.
