Die Kolonkarzinomzelllinie HT-29 und isolierte primäre humane Kolonepithelzellen (CEC) exprimierten auf Transkriptions- und Translationsebene die a-Kette des Rezeptors für den spezifischen Liganden IL-11 und das Glykoprotein gp130. Ferner konnten wir nachweisen, dass eine Stimulation der Kolonepithelzellen eine dosis- und zeitabhängige Phosphorylierung des Jak/STAT-Signalweges in diesen Zellen ...

A potential protective or anti-inflammatory effect of interleukin-11 (IL-11) for the intestinal mucosa has been postulated from several animal models of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and mucosal damage.
