In Anlehnung an Literaturvorschriften wurden alkylsubstituierte Benzodithiophenhydrochinone dargestellt. Diese fluoreszierenden Strukturen können reversibel zum Radikalkation oxidiert werden. A major goal in molecular electronics is the construction and preparation of circuit elements at a molecular scale. Molecular switches and wires constitute main building blocks in this context.
