Es wurden eine ganze Reihe neuer Ammoniakate synthetisiert und mittels Tieftemperatur Röntgenstrukturanalyse charakterisiert. Die erhaltenen Verbindungen lassen sich nach der Art der enthaltenen Anionen in verschiedene Verbindungsgruppen einteilen.
Die Heptapniktidanionen As73� und Sb73� sind analog dem P73� aufgebaut. Man erkennt deutlich den Einfluss der koordinativen Umgebung der Anionen vor allem auf ihre Bindungslängen. Durch gezielten Einsatz von chelatisierenden Liganden oder nicht koordinierenden Kationen lassen sich die unterschiedlichsten Alkalimetall-Heptapniktid Substrukturen verwirklichen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass neben der direkten Reduktion der Elemente mit Alkalimetallen in flüssigem Ammoniak auch die kongruente Solvatation von A3Pn7 Festkörpern oder die inkongruente Solvatation von Verbindungen wie A4As6 oder A5Pn5 zu Ammoniakaten mit Pn73� Anionen führt.
Als besonders aufschlussreich erwies sich die Synthese von [K(18-Krone-6)]3Sb11 * 7.5NH3. Hier ist es gelungen, durch Reaktion in Lösung Sb113�-Anionen aus Sb73�-Anionen aufzubauen.
Mit dem As7H2� Anion in der Verbindung [Rb(2,2,2-crypt)]2As7H * 3NH3 gelang erstmals die Synthese eines Hydrogenpolyarsenids.
Die As6SbPh2� Anionen zeigen, dass es möglich ist, heteroatomare Polypniktide als definierte Anionen zu erhalten.
Die Synthese des As7Me2� Anions zeigt, dass quartäre Ammoniumkationen auch bei sehr tiefen Temperaturen als Alkylierungsreagenz eingesetzt werden können.
Zwei weiter Verbindungen mit As42�-Anionen konnten den bereits bekannten hinzugefügt werden. Die den P42�-Anionen isovalenzelektronischen und ebenfalls aromatischen Anionen weisen dabei eine nahezu ideale quadratisch-planare Geometrie auf.
In der Verbindung [Rb(18-Krone-6)]2Rb2As6 * 6NH3 konnte das As64�-Anion erstmals außerhalb der dicht gepackten Festkörper A4As6 beobachtet werden. Es zeigte sich, dass dieses Anion im weniger koordinierten Zustand nicht mehr planar ist, sondern eine leichte Sesselkonformation einnimmt.
Das erste strukturell charakterisierte As144�-Anion, das als ein Dimer zweier As73�-Anionen aufgefasst werden kann konnte in der Verbindung [Rb(18-Krone-6)]4As14 * 6NH3 erhalten werden.
Auf dem Gebiet der Polyanionen des Bismuts konnten Verbindungen mit den Bi22�-Anionen und dem helikalen [Bi�]n Anion synthetisiert und charakterisiert werden. Dabei hat sich gezeigt, dass Bi22�-Anionen sowohl über direkte Reduktion als auch über Vorläuferverbindungen erhalten werden können.
Durch die Reduktion von SnPh2Cl2 mit K3Sb7 konnte das neuartige heteroatomare, phenylsubstituierte cyclo-[SbSb(Ph)SbSn(Ph2)Sn(Ph2)]2� Anion synthetisiert werden.
Generell hat sich gezeigt, dass die Verwendung von chelatisierenden Liganden die Möglichkeiten zur Synthese von homo- oder heteroatomaren Polyanionen der Gruppe 15 in flüssigem Ammoniak deutlich erweitern kann. Auch führt die Verwendung von Vorläufersubstanzen oft zu überraschenden Ergebnissen, die bisher durch reine Reduktion von Elementen noch nicht aufgedeckt werden konnten.

Translation of the abstract (English)

Several new ammoniates have been synthesized and characterized by low temperature X-ray structure analysis. The new compounds can be classified by means of their anions.
The heptapnictide anions As73� and Sb73� have a structure which is analogues to the P73� anion. The influence of the coordinative environment is in evidence. The usage of chelating ligands or non-coordinating cations leads to different alkaline-metal heptapnictide substructure. It is shown, that in addition to direct reduction techniques, also congruent solvation of A3Pn7 solids and incongruent solvation of compound like A4As6 or A5Pn5 can lead to heptapnictide anions.
Reaction of solvated Sb73� anions yielded in formation of Sb113� anions in [K(18-Krone-6)]3Sb11 * 7.5NH3.
We succeeded in the synthesis of the first hydrohen-polyarsenide As7H2� in [Rb(2,2,2-crypt)]2As7H * 3NH3.
The As6SbPh2� anion shows, that it is possible to synthesize heteroatomic polypnictides as defined anions.
Synthesis of the As7Me2� anion shows, that it is possible to use quaternary ammonia cations as alkylaring agents at very low temperatures, too.
Two new compounds with As42� anions have been synthesized. These anions are aromatic like the P42� anions and show an almost ideal quadratic planar structure.
Compound [Rb(18-Krone-6)]2Rb2As6 * 6NH3 contains the As64� anion, which is no longer planar but shows a chair conformation when not part of a compact solid.
For the first time, the As144� anion, a dimer of two As73� anions, could be obtained in the compound [Rb(18-Krone-6)]4As14 * 6NH3.
Among the bismuthides, compounds with Bi22� and [Bi�]n anions were synthesized and characterized. The Bi22� anions can be synthesized by direct reduction techniques as well as by precursor compounds.
Reduction of SnPh2Cl2 with K3Sb7 yielded in the formation of the new heteroatomic cyclo-[SbSb(Ph)SbSn(Ph2)Sn(Ph2)]2� anion.
All in all, it could be shown, that the usage of chelating ligands clearly expands the possibilities to synthesize new homo- or heteroatomic polyanions of group 15 in liquid ammonia. In addition, precursor substances can yield in the formation of unexpected and astonishing products, which were not accessible by reduction techniques so far.
