Abstract (English)

Aza-bis(oxazolines) (azabox) were introduced by our group in 20001 as structural hybrids of bis(oxazolines) and aza-semicorrins. The attractive features of these ligands are their facile attachment to organic and inorganic supports through alkylation of the central nitrogen, thus, arriving at recyclable catalysts, and the higher electron density than the corresponding bis-(oxazolines), which has been found to be advantages for some reactions, for example in Co catalyzed conjugate reduction of alpha, beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds or in Pd catalyzed allylations.

In order to further utilize the great potential of azabox ligands, their immobilization on various polymeric supports (MeOPEG, Tentagel, Polystyrene, Dendrimer, Fluorous metrials, etc)26 via click reaction was studied, offering both an easy way to recover precious chiral catalysts and improving on reactions through unusual solvation effects. The obtained yield and enantioselectivities were equal or comparable to the non-immobilized ligands.

Aza(bisoxazoline) (azabox) wurden von unserer Gruppe im Jahr 2000 eingeführt. Sie stellen strukturelle Hybride zwischen Bis(oxazolinen) und Aza-semicorrinen dar. Die interessante Fähigkeit dieser Liganden besteht darin, daß sie durch Alkylierung am zentralen Stickstoff einfach an organische wie auch anorganische Träger fixiert werden können, was sie recycelbar macht. Desweiteren weisen Aza(bisoxazoline) im Vergleich zu Bis(oxazolinen) eine höhere Elektronendichte auf, was sich in manchen Reaktionen als vorteilhaft erwies, wie z. B. in Co katalysierten konjugierten Reduktionen von alpha, beta- ungesättigten Verbindungen oder in Palladium katalysierten Allylierungen.

Um das hohe Potential der azabox Liganden zu untersuchen wurde diese mittels einer "Click Reaktion" an verschiedenen Polymeren (MeOPEG, Tentagel, Polystyrol, Dendrimere, fluorierte Träger) immobilisiert und ihre Eigenschaften studiert. Diese Immobilisierung bietet die Möglichkeit der Wiederverwendbarkeit des Katalysators als auch eine Verbesserung durch ungewöhnliche Löslichkeitseffekte. Die erhaltenen Ausbeuten und Selektivitäten waren vergleichbar mit der Ergebnissen der freien Katalysatoren.
