Phosphine chalcogenides represent an appreciated and valuable class of functional compounds, that can be further enhanced by the introduction of more heteroatomic elements such as nitrogen. The experimental preparation of such aminophosphine chalcogenides may be straightforward for achiral representatives but is even more challenging for P-stereogenic examples.
In Chapter three, we sought for a clean method to prepare P-stereogenic primary aminophosphine sulfides with high enantiomeric purity. The long-established use of N-bound chiral auxiliaries should allow to provide diastereomerically pure precursors and a subsequent reductive C–N bond cleavage reaction is intended to release the desired primary amino moiety. However, problems with the cleavage of the chiral auxiliary, which had not been thoroughly studied in the previous literature, required investigation and improvement towards the desired products. Furthermore, a method of stereoselective discrimination of the aminophosphine sulfides had to be found due to the lack of mechanical means.
Whether chiral or not, the bifunctional pattern of aminophosphine chalcogenides is suitable for the formation of intermolecular interactions such as hydrogen bonding, which is of great interest for organocatalytic processes and supramolecular topics. The importance to comprehend hydrogen-bond-based structural motifs and self-assembled agglomerates, led us to investigate protonated aminophosphine oxides, sulfides and selenides in terms of their aggregation properties into supramolecular synthons in Chapter four.
The functionalizability of achiral and P-stereogenic aminophosphine sulfides was meant to be examined by coupling the amino moiety with a hydrosilyl compound and subsequent ring formation by intramolecular stabilization of the silylium center with the P–S moiety. In addition, Chapter five deals with the introduction of Si-centered chirality into the heterocyclic products in the presence of a P-stereogenic center.

Phosphinchalkogenide stellen eine geschätzte und wertvolle Klasse funktioneller Verbindungen dar, die durch die Einführung weiterer heteroatomarer Elemente wie Stickstoff weiter verbessert werden können. Die experimentelle Herstellung solcher Aminophosphin-Chalkogenide mag bei achiralen Vertretern einfach sein, ist aber bei P-stereogenen Beispielen eine größere Herausforderung.
In Kapitel drei haben wir nach einer sauberen Methode zur Herstellung von P-stereogenen primären Aminophosphinsulfiden mit hoher enantiomerer Reinheit gesucht. Die seit langem etablierte Verwendung von N-gebundenen chiralen Hilfsstoffen sollte es ermöglichen, diastereomerenreine Vorstufen bereitzustellen, und eine anschließende reduktive C-N-Bindungsspaltungsreaktion sollte die gewünschte primäre Aminogruppe freisetzen. Die Probleme bei der Spaltung des chiralen Hilfsstoffs, die in der bisherigen Literatur nicht gründlich untersucht worden waren, mussten jedoch untersucht und in Richtung der gewünschten Produkte verbessert werden. Außerdem musste eine Methode zur stereoselektiven Unterscheidung der Aminophosphinsulfide gefunden werden, da keine mechanischen Mittel zur Verfügung standen.
Ob chiral oder nicht, das bifunktionelle Muster der Aminophosphin-Chalcogenide eignet sich für die Bildung intermolekularer Wechselwirkungen wie Wasserstoffbrückenbindungen, die für organokatalytische Prozesse und supramolekulare Themen von großem Interesse sind. Die Wichtigkeit, wasserstoffbrückenbasierte Strukturmotive und selbstorganisierte Agglomerate zu verstehen, veranlasste uns, in Kapitel vier protonierte Aminophosphinoxide, -sulfide und -selenide hinsichtlich ihrer Aggregationseigenschaften zu supramolekularen Synthonen zu untersuchen.
Die Funktionalisierbarkeit von achiralen und P-stereogenen Aminophosphinsulfiden sollte durch Kopplung des Aminorestes mit einer Hydrosilylverbindung und anschließender Ringbildung durch intramolekulare Stabilisierung des Silyliumzentrums mit dem P-S-Rest untersucht werden. Darüber hinaus befasst sich das fünfte Kapitel mit der Einführung von Si-zentrierter Chiralität in die heterocyclischen Produkte in Gegenwart eines P-stereogenen Zentrums.
