Veronica dabneyi, an endemic species from the Azores, Portugal, whose latest record dates back to 1938, has been collected again in the archipelago. The species was discovered on the Island of Flores and rediscovered on the Island of Corvo, both belonging to the western group of the Azorean archipelago. A review of the records of this species has given both a morphological description and a comparison with the similar Veronica officinalis. Habitat and ecology are described for the first time.
