In der vorliegenden Studie wurden die Daten von 430 Patienten ausgewertet, die an einem Schilddrüsenkarzinom erkrankten und in den Jahren 1992-2005 in der Nuklearmedizinischen Abteilung der Universität Regensburg betreut wurden. Ausgewertet wurden unter anderem, in welchem Lebensalter das Schilddrüsenkarzinom aufgetreten ist, welches TNM-Stadium die Patienten aufwiesen, welche histologische Varianten am häufigsten auftraten, wieviel Patienten bereits bei Erstdiagnose oder während des follow-up Metastasen entwickelten und wie viele Radiojodtherapien die Patienten erhielten

In this study 430 Pat with thyroid carcinoma, therapied in the years 1992-2005 in the department of nuclear medicine of the university of Regensburg, were included. Analysed was the age of the patients at the first diagnose of thyroid carcinoma, the TNM-classification, histological variants which occurred most of all, how many patients developed metastases in the course of their disease an how many patients already had metastases by first diagnose and at least how many radioiodine therapies the patients got.
