Abstract

We study classical transport properties of a two- dimensional electron gas subject to a spatially periodic magnetic field and to a time-dependent (ac) electric field. We investigate the case of a strong one-dimensional magnetic modulation and show how the chaotic electronic motion affects the conductivity of the sample.
