Abstract (German)
Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass sich PPARdelta als interessanter Regulator für verschiedene Stoffwechselvorgänge herausgestellt hat, und eine Therapie mittels PPARdelta Aktivator ein mögliches Behandlungsregime der Zukunft darstellen kann. Allerdings muss auch angemerkt werden, dass alle hier auf mRNA Ebene gefundenen Ergebnisse erst durch Nachweis auf Proteinebene validiert werden müssen. ...
Translation of the abstract (English)
As a conclusion one can say that PPARdelta may be an interesting regulator for lipid and cell metabolism. Also PPARdelta agonists may propose for potential future treatment of different metabolic diseases. One has to say that our findings are only on DNA-basis and need further validation on a protein basis.
Also one should conduct tests on a longtime application of PPARdelta agonists, if there are any unforeseeable positive or negative effects.
