Translation of the abstract (English)

So far, little is known about entomopathogenic fungi as source of new cytotoxic agents. These organisms inhabit extreme habitats and are well adapted to their arthropod hosts. Because of the lethality of most fungal infections, it is discussed that cytotoxic or conceived in a more general term bioactive constituents synthesized by the fungi are involved in the progression of the infection. ...
