Abstract

Detailed photophysical studies of the emitting triplet state of the highly phosphorescent compound Pt(dpyb)Cl based on high-resolution optical spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures are presented {dpyb = N^C²^N-coordinated 1,3-di(pyridylbenzene)}.
