Abstract
A small amount of [Ni(CN)₄]²⁻ impurities in single crystal Ba[Pt(CN)₄]•4H₂O leads to an effective emission quenching. The quenching properties are investigated for different concentrations, temperatures and polarizations of the emitted light.
