The dithiourethanes RCOCHR1CHR2S2CNR32 (where R = Me or Ph; R1 and R2 = H or Ph; R3 = Me, or Et or NR32 = 4-methylpiperazino) were prepd. by treating RCOCHR1CHR2X (where X = Cl, I, NR42, or NR43I) with NaS2CNR32.
