Die retrospektive Arbeit über die Regensburger Kompetenznetz HIV/AIDS-Kohorte beschäftigt sich mit der Analyse der Daten, die über 39 Monate aus dieser Kohorte gewonnen wurden. Die Zielkriterien waren die Beschreibung des Patientenkollektivs, die Darstellung der Therapieregimes, der Erfolg der antiretroviralen Therapie und Häufigkeit und Gründe für Therapiewechsel.

Die Datenerhebung dokumentierte Krankheitsverlauf, Therapie und soziodemographische Informationen von 142 Patienten, die aufgrund ihrer HIV-Infektion in der Inneren Medizin I des Universitätsklinikums Regensburg behandelt wurden. Hintergrund war die Etablierung einer nationalen Patientenkohorte, an der das Regensburger Zentrum im Zeitraum 09/2004 bis 10/2007 beteiligt war.

The retrospective work on the Regensburg Kompetenznetz HIV/AIDS-cohort deals with the analysis of data collected over a time period of 39 months concerning the above-mentioned cohort. The target criteria were a characterization of the collective of patients, a description of the therapy regimens, the successes of antiretroviral therapy as well as reasons and frequency of changes in therapy.

The data collected documented the course of the disease, and therapeutic and socio-demographic information of 142 patients, who were treated because of their HIV-Infection in the internal medicine I of the university hospital of Regensburg. Background was the establishment of a national patient cohort in the period from 09/2004 to 10/2007, in which the Regensburg center took part.
