New approaches to the calculation of thermodynamic properties of electrolyte solutions

Abstract

A new combination of the non-random two liq. (NRTL) model with the mean spherical approxn. (MSA) is introduced in the context of current research on the description of electrolyte properties. Existing problems in electrolyte theory and possible strategies for future research are also discussed.
