Rca1 ist ein wichtiger Inhibitor für die Ubiqutin-E3-Ligase APC/C mit dem Aktivatorproteine Fzr (Fizzy-related, ortholog zu Cdh1), vor allem in der G2-Phase des Zellzyklus, und ermöglicht die Akkumulati-on von Cyclinen für die darauffolgende Mitose. Translation of the abstract (English)

Rca1 is an important inhibitor of the ubiquitin E3-ligase APC/C with the activator Fzr (Fizzy-related, a homolog to Cdh1), mainly in the G2-phase of the cell cycle. It enables the accumulation of cyclins for the subsequent mitosis. Embryos that carry the rca1-alleles rca1[2] and rca1[C1474] arrest in cell cycle 16 and cannot enter mitosis 16th.
