Im Rahmen dieser Dissertation wurden verschiedene halogenhaltige und gemischt chalkogenhaltige Argyrodite mit den allgemeinen Zusammensetzungen Ag(8-y)Bn+Q(6-y)Iy (B = Si4+, Ti4+; Q = S2-, Se2-), Ag(12-n)Bn+S(4+y)Te(2-y) (B = Fe3+, Ge4+) und Cu(12-n)Bn+S(4+y)Te(2-y) (B = Si4+, P5+) hergestellt und charakterisiert. Im Vordergrund dieser Arbeit stehen die Struktur-Eigenschafts-Beziehungen der Verbindungen. Zur Aufklärung der Strukturen wurde die Einkristallstrukturanalyse verwendet. Um die Verteilung der mobilen Kationen innerhalb der Verbindungen möglichst genau zu beschreiben, wurden die entsprechenden Lagen unter Verwendung von anharmonischen Auslenkungsparametern verfeinert und mit Hilfe von 3-D j.p.d.f.- Karten visualisiert. Um eine Aussage über die Ionenleitung der betrachteten Argyrodite treffen zu können, wurden die Diffusionspfade der mobilen Kationen innerhalb gewisser Strukturausschnitte des Anionenteilgitters betrachtet. Mit Hilfe von 2-D j.p.d.f.-Karten wurden die einzelnen Diffusionspfade analysiert und die Potentialbarrieren zwischen ausgewählten Positionen bestimmt. Darüber hinaus wurden die Ionenleitfähigkeiten der in dieser Arbeit hergestellten Verbindungen mit der Impedanzspektroskopie bestimmt.
Für die Verbindung Ag9FeS4.1Te1.9, bei der es sich um den ersten eisenhaltigen Vertreter aus der Substanzklasse der Argyrodite handelt, konnte eine reversible Phasenumwandlung bei tiefen Temperaturen festgestellt werden. In Folge dieser geht die Verbindung beim Abkühlen von der Raumgruppe F-43m in die Raumgruppe P213 über. Die Kristallstrukturen beider Modifikationen konnten mit Hilfe der Einkristallstrukturanalyse aufgeklärt werden. Weiter konnte diese Phasenumwandlung auch mit der 57Fe- Mößbauer-Spektroskopie verfolgt werden. Darüber hinaus wurde der Magnetismus von Ag9FeS4.1Te1.9 bestimmt.

In dieser Dissertation werden außerdem die beiden Verbindungen Ag8SiS4Te2 und Ag7PS4Te2 vorgestellt. Obwohl die Summenformel beider Verbindungen an ternäre Argyrodite A+(12-n)Bn+Q62- erinnert, kristallisieren sie nicht im Argyroditstrukturtyp. Die Gründe, weshalb diese Verbindungen keine Argyrodite bilden werden in dieser Arbeit aufgeführt.

Translation of the abstract (English)

Within the context of this thesis several halogen-containing and mixed chalcogen-containing argyrodites with the general compositions Ag(8-y)Bn+Q(6-y)Iy (B = Si4+, Ti4+; Q = S2-, Se2-), Ag(12-n)Bn+S(4+y)Te(2-y) (B = Fe3+, Ge4+) and Cu(12-n)Bn+S(4+y)Te(2-y) (B = Si4+, P5+) were synthesised and characterised. The focus of this research work is on the structure properties relations of the compounds. To determine the structures the single crystal structure analysis was used. In order to describe the distribution of the mobile cations within these compounds as accurately as possible, the corresponding sites were refined using non-harmonic displacement parameters and visualized using 3-D j.p.d.f. maps. To predict the ionic conductivity of the investigated argyrodites, the diffusion pathways of the mobile cations were observed within special substructures of the anion lattice. The diffusion pathways were analysed using 2-D j.p.d.f maps and the potential barriers were determined between selected positions. Additionally, the ionic conductivities of the compounds synthesised in this research work were determined using impedance spectroscopy.
For the compound Ag9FeS4.1Te1.9, which is the first representative of an iron containing argyrodite type material, a reversible phase transition was observed at deep temperatures. Upon cooling the compound undergoes a phase transition from the space group F-43m to the space group P213. The crystal structures of both modifications could be solved by single crystal structure analysis. Additionally, this phase transition could be observed by 57Fe- Mössbauer spectroscopy. Moreover, the magnetism of the compound was determined.

Furthermore, the compounds Ag8SiS4Te2 and Ag7PS4Te2 are presented in this thesis. Although the formulas of both compounds remind of ternary argyrodites A+(12-n)Bn+Q62-, they don’t crystallize in the argyrodite structure type. The reasons why these compounds don’t form argyodites are presented in this research work.
