Abstract (English)

Large scale Lattice QCD computer simulations shed light on nucleon structure. In this work we demonstrate an algorithm that can substantially increase the obtained information/cost ratio. We give an overview on benchmark nucleon structure observables from lattice QCD, present a method to quantify excited state contributions in these observables and show a way to optimize quark wave functions to increase the ground state overlaps of these quantities.

Die Struktur des Nukleons ist der Gitter-QCD in aufwendigen Computer Simulationen zugänglich.
