Translation of the abstract (English)
Dental follicle cells (DFCs) can be differentiated into the osteogenic lineage by stimulation with growth factors BMP2 or IGF2 or the glucocorticoid dexamethasone. Treatment with either of theses induces an increased ALP activity and a mineralization, but upregulation of typical osteogenic marker genes like the transcription factor RUNX2 can be observed after treatment with BMP2 or IGF2, only. ...
