In dieser Arbeit konnten wichtige Details zum Verständnis des bisher weitgehend unbekannten Lösungsverhalten der Polystannide und -silicide in flüssigem Ammoniak gezeigt werden. Translation of the abstract (English)

Systematic NMR investigations and single crystal x-ray diffracation experiments gained detailed insight to solvation, transformation and degradation processes of the elusive E44- Zintl ions (E = Si, Sn) in liquid ammonia. The directed stabilization of Sn44- in solution enabled its functionalization with organometallic compounds for the first time and therefore a new approach for the targeted synthesis of such cluster compounds was established.
