Abstract (German)
In dieser retrospektiven Kohortenstudie wurden Inzidenzen und Risikofaktoren internistischer Komplikationen nach elektiven Kraniotomien untersucht. Dazu wurden Kraniotomiepatienten in einem Beobachtungszeitraum von fünf Jahren gescreent und 133 Patienten mit postoperativen internistischen Komplikationen erfasst. Diese wurden mit 163 Patienten mit postoperativ unkompliziertem Verlauf hinsichtlich Risikofaktoren wie erhöhtes Alter, verlängerte Operationsdauer, Komorbiditäten etc. verglichen.
Translation of the abstract (English)
This study aims to identify incidence and risk factors of internal complications following elective craniotomy. Thus patients who underwent craniotomy during the course of 5 years were screened and 133 patients with postoperative internal complications were identified. These patients were compared to 163 patients with uncomplicated outcome regarding risk factors such as advanced age, prolonged duration of surgery, comorbidities etc.
