Im murinen fullmismatch-Modell der allogenen Knochenmarktransplantation (H2-b --> H2-d) kann nach vollständiger Rekonstitution der Spenderhämatopoese durch die selektive Eradikation von spenderstämmigen CD4+CD25+foxp3+ regulatorischen T-Zellen (Tregs) graft-versus-host-disease (GVHD) ausgelöst werden, wie durch klinische, histologische, transkriptionale (qRT-PCR) und durchflusszytometrische Analysen klassischer GVHD-Zielorgane, vor allem des Intestinums, bestätigt werden konnte. Die Arbeit liefert Hinweise auf die non-redundanten Funktionen spenderstämmiger Tregs im Kontext der allogenen Knochenmarktransplantation.

In the murine fullmismatch-model of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation H2-b --> H2-d GVHD ensues the selective depletion of host-derived CD4+CD25+foxp3+ regulatory T-cells (Tregs) after complete engraftment of the graft hematopoesis, as confirmed by clinical, histological, transcriptional (qRT-PCR) and flow-cytometric findings in classic GVHD target organs, predominantly in the intestine. ...

In the murine fullmismatch-model of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation H2-b --> H2-d GVHD ensues the selective depletion of host-derived CD4+CD25+foxp3+ regulatory T-cells (Tregs) after complete engraftment of the graft hematopoesis, as confirmed by clinical, histological, transcriptional (qRT-PCR) and flow-cytometric findings in classic GVHD target organs, predominantly in the intestine. This work highlights the non-redundant functions of host-derived Tregs in the context of allogeneic bone marrow transplantation.
