The renal vasodilatory effect of prostaglandins is ameliorated in isolated-perfused kidneys of endotoxemic mice

Endotoxemia-related acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with increased formation of prostaglandins, which may serve as a compensatory mechanism to maintain renal function.
