Abstract

A highly potent donor-acceptor biaryl thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) dye is accessible by a concise two-step sequence employing two-fold Ullmann arylation and a sequentially Pd-catalyzed Masuda borylation-Suzuki arylation (MBSA).
