Linearly Two-Coordinated Silicon: Transition Metal Complexes with the Functional Groups M≡Si—M and M═Si═M

A detailed experimental and theoretical analysis is presented of unprecedented molybdenum complexes featuring a linearly coordinated, multiply bonded silicon atom.
