Abstract

We investigate the proximity-induced exchange coupling in transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), originating from spin injector geometries composed of hexagonal boron-nitride (hBN) and ferromagnetic (FM) cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), from first principles.
