Abstract (English)

We describe the process of enabling the Mutual Hazard Network model for large data sets, i.e., for high dimensions, by using the Tensor Train decomposition. We first briefly review the Mutual Hazard Network model and explain its limitations when using classical methods. We then introduce the Tensor Train format and explain how to perform required operations in it with a particular emphasis on solving systems of linear equations. Next, we explain how to apply the Tensor Train format to the Mutual Hazard Network. Furthermore, we describe some technical aspects of the software implementation. Finally, we present numerical results of different methods used to solve linear systems which occur in the Mutual Hazard Network model. These methods allow the complexity in the number of events $d$ to be reduced from $\mathcal{O}\left( 2^d \right)$ to $\mathcal{O}\left( d^3 \right)$ , thereby enabling the Mutual Hazard Network model to be applied to larger data sets.

Wir beschreiben den Prozess zur Ermöglichung des Mutual Hazard Network Modells für große Datensätze, sprich für hohe Dimensionen, indem wir die Tensor Train Zerlegung verwenden. Wir gehen zunächst kurz auf das Mutual Hazard Network Modell ein und erklären seine Grenzen bei Verwendung klassischer Methoden. Anschließend führen wir das Tensor Train Format ein und erklären, wie die erforderlichen Operationen darin ausgeführt werden, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der Lösung von linearen Gleichungssystemen liegt. Als Nächstes erklären wir, wie das Tensor Train Format auf das Mutual Hazard Network angewendet wird. Darüber hinaus beschreiben wir einige technische Aspekte der Softwareimplementierung. Schließlich präsentieren wir numerische Ergebnisse verschiedener Methoden zur Lösung linearer Systeme, die im Mutual Hazard Network Modell vorkommen. Diese Methoden erlauben es, die Komplexität in der Anzahl der Ereignisse $d$ von $\mathcal{O}\left( 2^d \right)$ auf $\mathcal{O}\left( d^3 \right)$ zu reduzieren, und ermöglichen dadurch die Anwendung des Mutual Hazard Network Modells auf größere Datensätze.
