Der Kontext von einzelnen Wörtern spielt vor allem in Stör- und Umgebungsgeräuschen eine wichtige Rolle. Dies ist besonders für Patienten mit Hörverlust wichtig. In der vorliegenden Studie wurde anhand 40 normalhörender Erwachsener der Kontext in den Testwörtern des Oldenburger Kinderreimtests im Störgeräusch bestimmt und nach dem Verfahren von Boothroyd und Nittrouer mathematisch quantifiziert. Dabei wurde den Testpersonen das Sprachmaterial sowohl in offener (ohne Auswahlmöglichkeiten) als auch in geschlossener Variante (Wörter zur Auswahl vorgegeben) präsentiert. Es zeigten sich eine deutlich höhere Sprachverständlichkeit in der geschlossenen Präsentation, die maximalen Gewinne konnten bei niedrigen SNRs erzielt werden. Die k- und j-Faktoren, welche den Kontexteffekt widerspiegeln, wurden anhand der mathematischen Gleichungen nach Boothroyd bestimmt, beide Faktoren zeigten eine Abhängigkeit von SNR und SVI.

The context in single words becomes important especially in background noise. This even gains on importance for patients with hearing loss. In the present study the context in the test words of the “Oldenburger Kinderreimtest” in noise was evaluated and mathematically quantified with the method of Boothroyd and Nittrouer. The test material was presented to the 40 normal hearing adults in an open (without option) and closed (3 words to choose) presentation mode. It could be shown, that there is a significant gain of speech intelligibility in the closed presentation mode, the highest profit was scored in low SNRs. The k- and j-factors, which quantify the mathematical context, were evaluated by the equations of Boothroyd, both factors displayed a dependency on SNR and SI.
