Abstract
In this study, the long-term restoration success of calcareous grasslands was investigated using a functional trait approach. The study site is located in the Swabian Alb, Germany, where a former calcareous grassland patch was restored in the 1990s by clearance of a spruce (Picea abies (L.) H.
