Abstract
Highly reduced anthracene and naphthalene cobaltates and ferrates catalyze the cyclization of diynes and triynes, furnishing expected [2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition products as well as unexpected annulation products from Garratt-Braverman cyclization reactions.
