Abstract

The core ionization was compared of free and adsorbed N2 to N2 bound head-on (with a linear N2-metal bond) to a metal atom in a mononuclear organometallic compd., namely h5-dicarbonyl-cyclopentadienyl-dinitrogen-manganese(I).
