A review of the authors' results obtained recently for Rhodamine 6G layers adsorbed on quartz. The theor. model for second harmonic generation and exptl. results obtained by frequency doubling of 308 nm excimer laser radiation and measuring picosecond pulses are discussed. 4 Refs.
