Abstract (English)

Dacapo (Dap) – the Drosophila homolog of p21 and p27 – can inhibit CycE/Cdk2 and thereby block the transition from G1 phase to S phase of the cell cycle. Previous work showed that the E3 ubiquitin ligase CRL4-Cdt2 targets Dap for degradation.
