The aim of my dissertation is the development of a prototype that provides the user with information at a (self-)determined point in time for a region freely chosen by them, which makes it easier for them to integrate preferred nutrition into their everyday life. The intuitive and rapid perception of all rel-evant information of the surrounding points and their characteristics is the decisive factor for the planed project. An interactive map visualization is therefore being created for the reference area of a municipality and its nutri-tionally relevant facilities. The goal is to work out how the complexity of the surrounding information can be reduced by means of suitable interaction con-cepts and visualizations in overview map applications. Helping the user to find their way around and making it easier to access healthy alternatives of food options. The prototype is planned and implemented in an agile process. The evaluation is carried out in several stages in accordance with the mixed methods principle.
