Abstract

Syndromes of peripheral nerve hyperexcitability represent a group of rare syndromes with distinct clinical and electrophysiological features. The mildest form, the cramp-fasciculation syndrome (CFS) is characterised by muscle cramps and fasciculations which are also seen on electromyographic recordings (EMG).
