Abstract

TFIIS is a transcript elongation factor that facilitates transcription by RNA polymerase II, as it assists the enzyme to bypass blocks to mRNA synthesis. Previously, we have reported that Arabidopsis plants lacking TFIIS exhibit reduced seed dormancy.
