Abstract

Plasmalemmal vesicle-associated protein (PLVAP, PV-1) is specifically expressed in endothelial cells in which it localizes to diaphragms of fenestrae, caveolae, and transendothelial channels. To learn about its function, we generated mutant mice that lack PLVAP.
